Bodhisattvas Vs Arhataa

 Buddhism has touched the  Heart of several people around the world.Gautam the Buddha is the founder of Buddhism.The teachings of Buddha are applicable in nature,one can implement those teaching and see the changes in  this whole world .


As there is a very good  saying" if you change your sight the entire scene  gets change".

We have heard a lot about Bodhisattva and arhatas , so do  we know the real difference and adherence between them ?

In this article we will be clearing all our doubts related to this chaos

So gautam the Buddha has divided the enlightened people in to two categories

1.Arhatas

2.Boddhisatvas


They Both are enlightened people as there is no difference between their experience ,Both has attained to the same truth.

The basic difference is that the arhatas are incapable of teaching it .They can not help others to experience this .As knowing something and helping other to know is totally different It is an art .

There have been many arhatas but very few Bodhisattvas.

Both are enlightened,as in enlightenment there are no degree,either one is enlightened or one is not .

Lets take example to understand this with more clearity. Most of us have seen so many beautiful thing around us. Like we have been experienced the beauty of Taj Mahal ,can we all portary that picture ,only few people can do justice to it because experiencing is somthing and making others to experience is totally different.It is a kind of art that has to develop from inner core.

So one fine day , a inquirer asked Buddha how many people have become enlightened among your desciple?

Buddha replied many.

Then enquirer asked again why they are not as famous as you are ?

Why nobody know about them ?

Why they don't have thousand of followers as you have ??

Buddha replied " they have become enlightened but they are not masters they have experienced the truth but they don't know how to make known to others.

They all are arhatas not boddhisatvas.  So What is the reason that is not allowing the arhatas to help others to experience the enlightenment. Not allowing them to become Bodhisattvas.

As far as I understand the arhatas are following the Bodhisattvas if you follow somebody else's path you may experience the same events but you loose your uniqueness that is within you.one can't communicate  that experience with others untill that person has got it from within .

It is important to follow  the enlightened people to get the road map ,to understand the journey.

With that understanding move ahead in your journey  of knowing your self.

Overthinking refers to  the Bombarment of thoughts. Many people  I have seen who have always flood of thoughts in their brain,which i guess is not normal, you need to be peacefull.   But with  this bombardment of thoughts .How can one be at peace.
