HOW TO TREAT UTI

Urinary tract infection is very common among women. Girls after they hit puberty they also suffer from UTI .

It is a bacterial disease caused by many gram negative bacteria like E.coli.

Symptom

1.Burning sensation in vagina
2. Itching 
3.micturation (pain during urination)

Treatment
It should be advise to drink plenty of water when you start feeling pain and itching 

One can start following the antibiotic therapy to completely eradicate the Bacteria causing UTI.
Here is the list of antibiotics one can begin with only on the advise of doctors.

In treating UTI ,fluroqunilones are considered best medicine.
Here is the list

1 Gatifloxacin  (for five days) should not be discontinue even if you feel better. (Drug of choice)
2. Ciprofloxacin
3.levofloxacin
4.Augmentin(amoxy+clavulanic acid)

This combination drug is effective in treating UTI
As it has clavulanic acid which reduces the chances of resistance to the amoxy
The main challenge in antibiotics treatment is the resistance shown by people 
 One of the main reason for it , patients,s noncompliance.
Patients are always advise to complete tthe course as suggested by your doctor.
