EPISODE 02: DEPRESSION A MENTAL DISORDER

The most commonly and very casually used word these days is depression so what is it how do we define it ?So basically
Depression is a mental disorder characterized by continuous events of sadness, anxiety, emptiness, restlessness, lethargy and in severe cases  sometimes even suicidal thought. I think most of us go through this phase in our life at some point of  time.
Some may feel it during teenage, some at adolescence, some at work place, some at relationship, some at after retirement.

 Here I want to point out that it is okay to have this kind of feeling it is absolutely normal so first accept this that it can  actually happen to you.
  Accepting your mental problems or such issues actually is like half treatment done.


Having said that I want to assure you all that it is curable ,you can get rid of it. 
you can regain your lost energy ,enthusiasm, interest, or I would say your own whole existence ,which you have not experienced from long time.

Instead of cribbing about the current status of this term just accept it as it is , because many people have ended their life due to their inability or weakness that they could not cope up with such situation and ended their life. So everyone of us now can anticipate the severity of depression which need to be address as soon as possible.





 So now what we can do to overcome depression, there are mainly two ways:

 First method : MEDICATION: This is the primary method, taking antidepressant pills like Alprex which sedate your mind and relives your anxiety and calm you down

Second method: SPRITUALITY : This helps you to answer your questions and most importantly it fills you with compassion, peace and love then you do not feel  empty,  lonely or weak and this practices will give rest to  your mind and stop that bombardment of thoughts that makes your heart to pump so fast that you can actually hear your heart beat, which makes us feel often more depress and restless.

 So just relax  even if you do not have anyone around you whom you can talk to . 
We often need our people around  us especially in such situation  so that we can share what we are feeling or going through right now .
In turn what we expect from that person?,
Is that he or she will give us strength or  positivity   by saying some sort of positive affirmation, like no see what qualities you have ,you have done this much in your life etc.  or may be all of it Infact it actually works also.  we start feeling strengthen,  lighter ,better and healed.

 So here is question can I do this healing process to myself ,can I talk to myself like this ,can I remind myself that god has blessed me with so many virtues no matter what just happend . Still I have those qualities to work on them to make them better. However I may have faced the biggest failure of my life but ...... Still there is one thing which I possess far more precious than what I have dreamt for is  my breath

Without this, neither can I rejoice or celebrate the success nor can I mourn or to be sad or depress . So iIhope we will atleast try to  understand the vitality of life now.
 In such  low phases.



If there is life, only then, all the emotions of success or failure are to  be concerned or to be executed. This conversation with yourself will give you that healing which you were looking outside which we do not get most of the time, then feel even worse.

 So I would advise to sit back and start conversation with yourself or pen down your feeling. You will surely feel lighter and better start loving yourself, get filled up with love an peace gradually and start spreading it out...........        To the world.
